Required Qualification :Candidates must have passed Matrics or equivalent Examination passed from a recognized Board or a University.
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200/- + GP Rs.1800/-
Required Age Limit as on 01-03-2017: Minimum 18 and Maximum 25 Years & Age Relaxation would be applicable as per rules.
Mode of Selection: Would depend on Written Examination & Skill Test.

About Staff Selection Commission (SSC) :
The establishment of Staff Selection Commission was in the year 26th September 1977. The main aim to establish this Commission is to recruit the staff for the Ministries and also for the Departments of the Government of India including the subordinate offices. The Headquarter of the Staff Selection Commission is located at New Delhi. In the earlier times this commission was known as Subordinate Service Commission but later it has changed to Staff Selection Commission.
The new Commission has started to function from 1999, 1st June. To recruit the candidate for non-gazetted officers that to for all the different government jobs the Staff Selection Commission conduct the examination called as SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination each and every year. Altogether there are total of 7 regional offices and 2 sub regional offices for Staff Selection Commission.

At present the regional offices are located at the places in Bangalore, Allahabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata & Delhi and the sub regional offices at Chandigarh and Raipur. Regional Director and Deputy Director is controlling the regional office and sub regional office. Chairman with the help of 2 members and Controller of the Examination is controlling the whole Staff Selection Commission.
The Chairman of the Staff Select Commission is Ashim Khurana and the 2 members are Manoj Kumar Pandey and C.P.Jain. Mohan Lal Hirwal is the Director of the Staff Selection Commission. The main function of the Commission is to conduct the examination and also the interviews Group C. They also hire the officers for the Ministries and for the Subordinate offices. There are many different vacancies coming under the SSC. The duties for MTS is to complete all the technical and the non technical works under the Government of India. The Stenographers jobs, LDC recruitment, UDC recruitment, Data Entry operators and so on comes under the Staff Selection Commission job.
